The Venue

This Imperial War Museum is the best-preserved Second World War airfield in Europe – and one of the most remarkable venues in the country at which to host your meeting, conference,  product launch, corporate hospitality, award dinner or private event.  The museum is also regularly used for commercial filming and photo shoots as well as a venue for private car club meets and motorsport testing.

Our purpose-built AirSpace Conference facility including the 200-seat Marshall Auditorium, is available for conferences, seminars, meetings, dinners and lunches, accommodating up to 200 people.  Easy access from the M11 motorway, and ample free parking, add to the Centre’s flexibility.

Two remarkable indoor spaces - the Foster-designed American Air Museum, and the breath-taking AirSpace building – are available for large-scale hospitality events of up to 700 guests as well as product launches and trade fares.

Party amongst the aeroplanes this Christmas as this Imperial War Museum opens up its Conservation Hall for a Christmas with altitude.

On arrival enjoy drinks in AirSpace, a venue that oozes sophistication and glamour from the moment you arrive.  How about cocktails under Concorde or Champagne by a Spitfire?

There'll be plenty of time to wander around the Museum and  take in the size and scale of some of the most iconic aircraft ever to grace the skies, all illuminated in spectacular fashion, before making your way to the Conservation hall.

Here, you'll dine under the wings of three impressive aircraft, includingthe Eurofighter Typhoon and enjoy a Three-course Christmas feast cooked and served by our professional staff before dancing yourself dizzy with a disco and full event lighting until 1am.

Starters

Traditional gravadlax with marinated tiger prawns and lemon & dill dressing
Country game pate with homemade fruit chutney
Fan of melon with raspberry vinigrette

Main

Roast timbale of turkey topped with cranberry crust
Roasted chestnut & vegetable encroute with tomato & basil coulis

Dessert

Duo of citrus & cinnamon bavarois and chocolate pot with wild berries

Note - For exclusive parties one starter should be selected for the entire group.


Joiner Parties

In addition to the private bookings this venue also have two joiner/shared parties running on the 15th & 17th December.
