HMS Belfast is a light cruiser, launched on St Patrick's Day in March 1938, she served in World War II and the Korean War, remaining in active service until 1963. On October 21st (Trafalgar Day) in 1971 HMS Belfast was opened to the public and has been part of The Imperial War Museum since 1978. You will find her on the Thames, upstream from Tower Bridge, next to Butler's Wharf.
